Socorro Medical Clinic is a locally owned internal medicine and primary care practice dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalized care for adults and the elderly in the Socorro and greater El Paso, Texas community. We are committed to fostering lasting patient relationships, promoting lifelong health and dignity, and serving as a trusted partner in the well-being of our neighbors.

Our Doctor and Founder
Adekunle Adedeji, M.D.
Dr. Adedeji graduated with a Medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan. He held the position of Medical Officer at three different hospitals while practicing in Ibadan and then had two and a half years of training as a Senior House Officer in Emergency Medicine at the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick, Republic of Ireland. He did his residency in Family Medicine and fellowship in Geriatrics at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio.
He is Board Certified in Family and Geriatric Medicine.
His research projects include Quality Improvement for Management of Diabetics and use of Psychotropic and Physical Restraints in Nursing Home residents. He also does international medical missions.
Dr. Adedeji is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. He was Attending Physician with Wellmed Medical Group and Baptist Hospital System in San Antonio Texas until he moved to El Paso with his family.
Family Nurse Practitioner & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Santos Aguirre, MSN, FNP-C, PMHNP-C
Santos Aguirre is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Socorro Medical Clinic. He brings extensive experience in family practice, critical care, telemetry, and acute patient care to his practice.
Since joining Socorro Medical Clinic in 2019, Mr. Aguirre has provided comprehensive care for adults across the lifespan, with a particular focus on diabetes management, chronic disease management, preventive care, and patient education. He is also certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, allowing him to further support the mental and behavioral health needs of his patients.
Mr. Aguirre is passionate about building trusting relationships with patients and families through compassionate care, clear communication, and individualized treatment. He is fluent in both English and Spanish and is committed to making healthcare accessible and understandable for every patient he serves.

Family Nurse Practitioner
Fabiola Wegmann, FNP-C
I am a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with more than a decade of experience in nursing and a passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care. I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2011 and my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 2023 from The University of Texas at El Paso.
Throughout my nursing career, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of areas, including medical-surgical nursing, triage, and forensic nursing. These experiences have shaped my approach to healthcare and taught me the importance of listening to each patient, understanding their individual needs, and providing care with compassion and respect.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I care for patients across the lifespan and manage a wide range of healthcare needs, including chronic conditions, preventive care, acute illnesses, and everything in between. I believe in building lasting relationships with my patients and working together to create individualized treatment plans that support their health and well-being.
Outside of the clinic, I am a proud mother of three boys. My family is a huge part of who I am and has taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and truly listening-qualities I carry with me into my practice every day.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve my community and look forward to partnering with my patients and their families throughout every stage of their healthcare journey.
